About AGC

AGC Incorporated is dedicated to the manufacture and repair of precision components and assemblies for the commercial and aerospace industry. The company was founded in 1951, as an aerospace gasket manufacturer, by Raymond C. Schmitt. The strength of the company at the time of its genesis continues to be its strength today. Presently AGC possesses a wide spectrum of process capabilities, manufacturing thousands of aerospace components and assemblies made of metal, rubber, urethane, Teflon and plastics. These capabilities were built upon our work involving original engineering research, development and manufacture of aerospace components.

AGC's unique market niche is titanium hot forming and combination bonding, i.e. rubber to metal, plastic to metal and urethane to metal; while its reputation continues to be of a manufacturer of high precision composite parts. As a composite parts manufacturer, the company has developed comparative technical advantages in its bonding and assembly capabilities. Included in the product base is the manufacture of fan exit vane assemblies and low pressure compressor stators. In 1989, as a logical progression of these capabilities, we began an operating division to overhaul and repair turbine engine components.

In an effort to support the Original Equipment Manufacturer, we have established an international overhaul and repair facility. AGC's Overhaul and Repair product mix consists of: LPC stator assemblies, fan exit fairings and vanes, LPC ducts and cases, fan blade spacers, heatshields and many miscellaneous gas turbine components. AGC's processes include bonding, sealing, riveting, machining, welding, molding, coating and painting.
